Everyone arrives in Jerusalem with a version of the city already in mind. Biblical city. Divided city. Holy city. Political symbol. We begin with that version and test it against the landscape. We start at a viewpoint and then walk into the Old City, where three religions, a lot of archaeology and very different memories share less than one square kilometer.

Read more verified reviews →Good to know: The Old City has uneven paving, slopes and stairs. A step-reduced route is possible, but not every historic site is fully accessible. A vehicle is useful when adding the Mount of Olives or sites outside the walls.

Can we see all four quarters?
Yes, but the strongest tour is not a race. We can cover all four while choosing where to slow down and enter major sites.
Can we visit the Temple Mount/Haram al-Sharif?
Possibly, subject to visitor status, official access windows, religious dates and security conditions. It should be treated as an option, not a promise.
Will the tour take a political side?
Ari distinguishes evidence, tradition and political claims, and represents the major perspectives fairly. Difficult facts are not avoided.
Is it suitable for children?
Yes, with a shorter route, visual explanations and one or two exploratory sites such as tunnels, rooftops or archaeological spaces.
