Cancellation Policy

Last updated: August 2026

Pre-designed tours

For tours based on an existing itinerary, the deposit is eligible for refund when Ari receives the cancellation with the following notice:

  • Single-day tours: up to 7 days before the tour date.
  • Multi-day tours: up to 14 days before the first tour date.

Bookings are confirmed with a deposit of 40% of the total tour cost. If cancelled before the applicable deadline, the deposit is refunded minus any non-refundable payment-processing fees. If cancelled after the deadline, or in case of a no-show, the deposit is not refunded. Ari may instead offer rescheduling, subject to availability; rescheduling is not guaranteed until confirmed in writing.

Custom-built tours

Tours designed from scratch for a specific group require an additional planning fee of approximately 20% of the estimated tour cost. The exact amount is confirmed in writing and paid before planning begins. This fee is non-refundable because it covers research and itinerary design already undertaken, whether or not the trip ultimately takes place. Once the tour itself is booked, the 40% deposit and the cancellation windows above also apply.

If Ari has to cancel

If Ari needs to cancel a tour — due to illness, weather, a security situation, or force majeure circumstances beyond anyone's control (for example, a war or a suspension of flights) — the client receives a full refund of all payments made, including any planning fee.

Mandatory rights

These terms do not limit any cancellation or refund right that applies mandatorily under consumer law. Where such a right applies, the legal rule takes precedence.
