Who you are booking with

Echoes of the Land is operated by Ari Mielnik, a licensed private tour guide in Israel (Guide License No. 21953), working as an independent sole proprietor registered in Israel as an Osek Patur. There is no separate corporate entity behind the business.

The service

Ari provides private guiding services. Transportation is separate from guiding and is clarified in every proposal — see the Transportation page. The written proposal identifies what is included, what is not included, the price, payment schedule, and any third-party costs. Booking terms, deposits, and refund windows are set out in the Cancellation Policy.

Booking confirmation

An inquiry does not create a booking or guarantee availability. A booking is confirmed only when Ari confirms it in writing and receives the payment required in the proposal. A specific written proposal may add to or clarify these terms; if there is a conflict, the proposal controls for that booking.

Itinerary changes

Routes and stops may change due to site access, weather, or official security guidance. Ari will do his best to preserve the spirit and priorities of the original plan when this happens.

Responsibility

Private tours can involve walking, heat exposure, uneven terrain, and time outdoors. The person booking must provide accurate information about the group and disclose any relevant accessibility, health, or mobility needs so the route can be planned responsibly. Participants remain responsible for their personal decisions and for following lawful site and safety instructions; an accompanying adult is responsible for minors in the group.

To the extent permitted by law, Ari is not responsible for injury, loss, delay, or damage caused by risks inherent in the activity, information withheld by a participant, or the acts or omissions of independent providers booked directly by the client, such as hotels, drivers, or restaurants. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Force majeure

If a tour cannot proceed due to illness, weather, a security situation, or circumstances beyond anyone's control, the terms in the Cancellation Policy apply.

Photography and video

Ari may ask permission during a tour to photograph or film guests for use on this website or on social media. Permission is always requested explicitly in the moment and is never assumed. Declining has no effect on the tour.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Israel, where the service is based and delivered.
